Dear Bloom Family, While finishing up my last year at Westmoor High School as a Senior, I was, what was then called at school, on the 4/4 plan. This meant I could attend school 4 hrs of the day, and work 4 hrs of the day. Dear Joan, your husband trained me as his dental assistant; my very first job with pay beggining at 0.75 an hour in 1967-68. I remember you Amy crawling around on the floor when visiting your Dad at the Serramonte Office right up from Safeway at the time. I also remember when he served as a Clinic Director/Professor at UCSF School. My very sincere condolences to all of you. I have lots a happy memories working with Dr. Bloom.
Shalom, Marilyn Thorne
