Grandpa,
We all miss you very much and there will always be a place in our hearts for you. You always showed us grandchildren how much you loved us. Even when you caught us fighting with each other you would just smile and say knock it off. So many wonderful memories from the holidays and parties at the house in Foster city.I know you are looking down on us from heaven to keep an eye on us and making sure we are doing okay, as you did when you were here with us on earth. You had such a big heart and that's why we love you.

I love you grandpa.

Love,
Marisa

Hey Grandpa Jack!
I hope you are dancing and singing and having a fun time in the sky. I really do miss you. I can just see you looking down at us and giving your cute little wink. You are a part of why I never give up. Some may say it's being a stubborn Irish, but I say you were optimistic about the future. From Mary Jane's little JcPenny's check to start the Alexander Co. to what it's now is astonishing. You believed in yourself, children and family. Your faith and warm heart is what we need more of in this world. I am honored to say you are my grandfather and always will be loving...
Grandpa Jack Alexander.
love always,
Nikki

P.S.
"I've got a never ending love for you
From now on,that's all I want to do
From the first time we met I knew
I'd have a never ending love for you"

I didn't know Jack well, but he must have been a great man because he has such a wonderful, loving family. Having known his daughter Kristine for close to 50 years and knowing the wonderful person and friend she is, I'm sure this reflects on the quality person he had to have been. Our condolences go out to the entire family. I'm sure Jack will be greatly missed.

Jack was such a part of so many people's lives. Kris and I loved and admired him so much. Jack is undoubtedly a self-made man. Relocating to California with only the promise of a better life and a job. Jack moved the whole family and eventually settled in Daly City. I was so lucky because Kris now lived a block from my families house.
I remember so many family dinners, Christmas parties etc. in Daly City and later in Foster City and then Roseville. What a great family Jack created. I will miss him a great deal. Thanks for your influence on my life Jack, and especially thanks for Kris, my lovely wife.

I remember Jack as a warm and loving Uncle, who never hesitated in offering assistance to others. I fondly recall asking him if my husband and his friend could stay overnight on an unexpected trip to San Francisco 30 some years ago. He not only took them into his home, but also arranged a weekend trip to Tahoe for two complete strangers. He was a great storyteller, with a keen sense of humor, and I recall learning about my mother's family from his tales. I apologize that I wasn't able to convey my condolences in person, as Jack was such a kind and loving man, and a great part of our family! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, during this difficult time. Love from the Ericksons (Kathy, Steve and Stephanie).
