James Arnest Obituary

James Thomas Arnest II

James Thomas Arnest II, known as Tom to his family and friends, watched his last sunset on November 24, 2018. Tom was born in San Francisco on December 24, 1973 to James and Roxanne Arnest. He attended Riordan High School, and graduated in 1991. He met his future wife Gina in 1992, and they were married in 1998. Tom worked as a carpenter and eventually as a home inspector with his father in a termite/home inspection company they have run with his mother for 27 years. A natural outdoorsman, he loved the ocean, enjoyed hiking, camping, music, movies and watching the stars at night. He was fluent in history, and took great pleasure in sharing his knowledge with everybody. A man with a huge heart, Tom was a very loving and forgiving person who enjoyed spending time with his children, and loved watching them participate in sports and playing music.

Tom is survived by his parents James and Roxanne, his wife Gina, their children Lauren, Noah and Thomas; his brother Sherman, brother-in-law Dale and sisters-in-law Lisa and Veronica, his uncle Charles, Aunt Kathryn, nieces and nephews, Alex, Alyssa, Cody, Nicole, Alexis, Anthony, Natalya, Ashley, Demetrius, Sofia and Bobby. Tom will also be missed by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his dog Charlie and cat Pepper.

His family is at peace knowing he will be greeted by many loved ones that have crossed over including his dog Penny.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 16 at 2:00 at St. Peter Church, 700 Oddstad Blvd., Pacifica.
