Jim so reluctantly left us in spirit on December 30th, with all his loved ones there to wish him a safe journey, be it on a motorcycle, or in a Peterbilt truck, law enforcement vehicle , SUV, riding a mule on a hunting trip, in a Destruction Derby car or simply on his own two feet. Give him a grand salute as he passes by.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Re-reading what we wrote at the time of Jim's passing remains true today. In some ways, everlasting life is in how we remember and talk about those we love who have died. We today send special love to the woman who Jim was lucky enough to call his wife. Take care, Joyce. N & M

Joyce And family..I was so sadden to hear of Jim passing. Randy, Jims brother, was my friend..so I always knew Jim as the big intimidating older brother..until I became an adult....GENTLE GIANT ...that he was. I am glad I got to know him in that light! God bless all of you!

Jimmy, Geri and Bobby,
Sending my love and prayers for your family. I have so many great childhood memories of times spent with all of you. We truly had some fun....especially at Crazy Horse Campground for the Destruction Derby. Your dad had a great smile and even greater laugh. XOXO - Kim (Hall) Murcia

The Gentle Giant is the perfect way to think of Jim. He loved his family and he was well loved by them and all his longtime friends. We always think of Jim and our buddy, Paul with smiling faces. Wishing Joyce and their family comfort and sending our prayers. RIP friend.

That was a beautifully written account of Jim's life. We knew Jim mostly through his loving wife Joyce, although we did have a chance to hear a couple of good memoirs from him over dinner at Wild Oak Saddle Club. He's already missed.

Jim was a good and decent man who was a pleasure to work for. He will always be remembered for his great smile.
May his family take comfort in knowing he made this world a better place.

To the Clark family...Thinking of you and wishing you comfort during this time of sorrow. Jim is in our whole family's hearts. We have so many wonderful memories of our many years together...our family holidays and road trips; hunting trips and his help in moving us to Salt Lake City many years ago. Our love and prayers are with you all. Love Dee and Don Kurtz, Kara Urnes family and Kris Kelsay family.

My hope is that Jim and Alan are together, swapping stories and having a beer.
