Just thinking about him today. He was my principal at De Anza HS and I remember him greeting students as he walked the halls in his suit, while picking up trash. My university chancellor also did this. Those two men modeled for me leadership from the top down. And although I was an extreme introvert, he knew my name and checked in on me to make sure I was okay. Mr. Storer helped me to understand that leaders don´t just tell people what to do- they show you how to act through serving those they lead. God bless Jim Storer and the legacy he left behind.
