Janet Griffith Obituary

Janet Lind Griffith

March 6, 1948 - October 17, 2015

Born and raised in South Bend IN, resided in Oakland with husband Mike and daughter Elisabeth. Warm and giving, Janet surrounded herself with lifetime friends and was a great support to both her and Mike's extended families. A psychologist for Kaiser Permanente for over 25 years until her 2010 retirement, Janet pursued new interests in acting and storytelling, fostered countless rescue dogs for Hopalong Animal Rescue, and supported children in Guatemala through Mayan Families. Janet will be greatly missed by all who were lucky to know her.
Contributions in her memory may be made to Hopalong (www.hopalong.org) or Mayan Families (www.mayanfamilies.org).
