Jason Yeh Obituary

Jason Chin Yeh 1935 - 2007 In Berkeley, December 12, 2007. Dearly beloved husband of 40 years to Jeanne Lee Yeh of Berkeley. Loving father of Nadine Chu Yeh of Berkeley. Loving brother of Ching Sue Yeh and loving uncle to Lucy Yeh, George Yeh, Man-Chih Yeh, Shiu-Chih Yeh and Dennis Yeh. He will be missed by his in-laws: Jannifer Lee, Kathy Leong (Dennis), Stephanie Wong (Larry), Nancy Chow (Quimby), Richard Lee, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chu Ying Yeh and Yiu MayYeh; and brother, Chin Tao Yeh. Born on June 27, 1935 in Shanghai, China. He graduated from Taiwan Normal University, Teachers College. He arrived in the U.S. in his mid-20s continuing his education at the California College of Arts, Oakland, majoring in industrial design. Besides devoting his time to his family and friends, he enjoyed traveling, brush painting, photography, music, opera, and designing/remodeling and constructing his buildings. He was a humble, kind, generous and creative person, always willing to help others in need. He also had quite a contagious sense of humor which was unforgettable. He will be missed dearly by all of us. Services will be private and interment at Sunset View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family request donations may be made to the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center Chaplaincy Services, 2450 Ashby Avenue, Berkeley, California 94705.
