Jean Ithurralde Obituary

Jean Pierre Ithurralde
05/01/1942 - 04/18/2024
Jean Pierre "JP" Ithurralde, 81, of Ainhice-Mongelos, France (Basque Country), passed away on April 18, 2024, in San Francisco, California. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. JP loved being in nature and spending time with his friends and family.
JP was a veteran of the French Army and served in the Algerian War. After his service, he immigrated to the US and worked as a rancher in Northern California. He later moved to San Francisco and started his own landscaping business and worked for over 50 years, showcasing his dedication and passion for his work.
In his free time, JP was an avid sportsman who enjoyed tending to his tomato and pepper garden. He found joy in these hobbies and shared his love for nature and gardening with those around him.
JP is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Maria Elena, his sons Bernard, Steven, Jack, Christopher, and Francois, and his grandson Jean Pierre. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
