Jean Reva Edelstein Schore, 86, formerly of Hibbing, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, at her daughter's home in Eugene, Oregon. Raised in Hibbing, Jean valued her Iron Range roots throughout her life. She graduated from Hibbing High School in 1957, earned her B.A. from Simmons College in 1961, and received her M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in 1979.
Jean's dynamic career included leading public relations at Mount Sinai Hospital in Minneapolis and founding Schore Marketing Associates in San Francisco. She spent four decades guiding clients with vision and integrity. As a lifelong Rotarian she helped advance specialized ophthalmic care in North Macedonia, Lithuania, and Vietnam. She was an active member of Synagogues in every community where she lived.
Jean's passions included family, entertaining, travel, and fitness. Each summer, the family cabin on Big Sturgeon Lake in Minnesota provided some of her happiest and serene moments.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Sara (Ginsburg) Edelstein, her brother Chuck, and sister Barbara. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Schore and Son-in-Law Thomas Fields; her son Mark Schore and Daughter-in-Law Kaoru, and her grandson Matthew. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends around the world.

Jean's vibrant warmth, hospitality, and sense of adventure touched everyone she met. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she enriched.
