Jeannette Maria Aubert Born in San Francisco to Felix Etcheverry and Agnes Canton of the Basse-Pyrennes, France. The family moved to back to France when the children were young and settled in Lys. In November 1941 the family was forced to leave France and stayed briefly in New York City with relatives. Their love for Dan Francisco called them and they eventually settled in the City. Jeannette graduated from Lowell High School and SF city College. She worked for the Emporium for many years. In February 1953 she married Albert E. Aubert and was happily married until his death in 1999. She was a member of the Druids, Pochohontas, French Hospital/Kaiser Womens Auxillary, NDV mothers guild and the Blessed Sacrament. She loved to travel and had many happy years traveling with her husband, family and friends. Her home was open to all. She leaves behind her friend and brother Lucien Etcheverry and his wife Jean with who she developed a special bond, their children Lauren French (Jeff), Daniel (Melissa) and Paul; grand niece and nephew Alison and Charlie French. Jeannettes pride and joy were her children and grandchildren; her son Roger and wife Laura and their children Christopher, Tommy and Michelle. She also leaves behind her adored daughter Roxanne Hogan and doting son-in-law Michael and their daughters Madeline Rose and Amelia Rae. She also leaves behind many cousins in S.F., New York, New Jersey and France. Many thanks and much love to Cecilia Aquirre who many years ago came to us as Jeannettes helper and companion and has evolved into a trusted family member. Your care and grace will always be appreciated. Friends may call Monday after 6 PM and are invited to attend the Vigil Service Monday at 7 PM at the Evergreen Mortuary of McAvoy O'Hara Co, Geary Blvd at Tenth Ave. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10 AM at Notre Dame Des Victoires Church, 566 Bush St., S.F., CA Committal Wednesday 10AM at Holy Cross Cemetery.
