Jimmie Gee Obituary

Jimmie Larry Gee Passed away on February 11, 2007, at the age of 83. Born and raised in the California Central Valley community of Reedley. Upon graduating from Fresno Tech High School, served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 aboard the U.S. Army Hospital Ship Seminole before taking residence in San Francisco. Co-founded Pacific General Contractors, retired member of Carpenter's Union, Local 22. Longtime member of the Chinese Bowling League. Idolized the late actor John Wayne, avid New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics baseball fan. Beloved husband of the late Paula June Gee; devoted father to Mark H. Gee and wife Denise; Gary S. Gee and Wife Audrey; Larry P. Gee and wife Judy; and Belinda Gee; loving step-father to William Lee Jr. and wife Linda, Paulita Chang and husband Calvin; proud grandfather to Melissa Gee, Christina and Michele Gee, Jennifer and Jonathan Gee, Patrick Lee and wife My Dung, Carissa Lee and husband Kevin, Tyler and Nolan Chang; great-grandfather to Saleen and Kendrick Lee and Emma Rex. Eldest son of the late Willie and Lee Shee Gee; brother to the late Gee Ngon Tom and late husband Tommy, George Gee and wife Edna, the late Oy Yut Gee, David Gee and wife Marlena, Betty Lowe and late husband Kenneth; brother-in-law to the late Stephen Fong, Jr., the late Theodore Fong, Brewster Fong and late wife Helen, Richard Fong and wife Beatrice, James Fong and wife Tina. Friends and family are invited to attend Memorial Services on Monday, February 26, 2007, at 1:00pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to YMCA Chinatown, 855 Sacramento Street, San Francisco, CA 94108 or to Pathways Hospice, 395 Oyster Point Blvd., Suite 128, South SF, CA 94080.
