Joan Jaffe Obituary

Joan Jaffe
Joan Garaventa Jaffe, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Los Angeles on July 10.
Born on October 13, 1941, in San Francisco, Joan moved to Los Angeles where she had a career at, and graduated from, UCLA. She was also an active volunteer, which included serving as a docent at the Getty Villa and Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Joan is survived and dearly missed by her husband Howard; daughter Lauren; stepchildren Cynthia and Eric; grandchildren Milo, Kate, Ella, and Jack; and an extended family of many life-long friends.
To honor her memory, the family requests donations made to either the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research (https://pancreatic.org/) or St. Joseph Center (https://stjosephctr.org/).
