JULY 28, 1932 to OCTOBER 29, 2014

Our Beloved Mother, entered Glory last Wednesday. She joined our father Jack and her son Mick. She is survived by 8 of her 9 children, John, Tim, Jim, Maureen, Colleen, Matt, Kerry, Lisa, 31 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for Sat. Nov. 8th at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Auburn, CA. Please visit: tributes.com/joanthornton and sign our guest book.

To the entire family; my condolences. Joan was a fantastic person. I love the way she could be serious and fun at the same time. Not easily done. I hadn't seen her much lately but she will still be missed.
