Joanne Marchetti Quinn December 21, 1941 -January 4, 2009 In this city, after a valiant battle with cancer. Joanne was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret Ginotti Della-Selva and John B. Marchetti. Devoted wife of Richard Quinn for 43 years. Adored mother of Andrea, Michael and Brian Quinn. A native of San Francisco Joanne graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy in 1960 and San Francisco College for Women in 1964. She was a teacher at St. Brendan's School for many years. She enjoyed the Red Hat Society and was current Queen Mother of the DIVAS branch. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 5:OOPM to 9:OOPM and to attend the Vigil Service also on Wednesday at 7:OOPM and the Funeral Service on Thursday at 9:45AM from the Chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co., 4840 Mission St., SF, thence to St. Robert Church where a 10:30AM Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. Donations in Joanne's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 201 Mission St., Suite 720, San Francisco, CA 94105.
