Dear Brian,
I just learned about the tragic death of your son, John and my heart breaks for you, your wife and his mother. I will never forget the support you gave me when I lost Jason the day after Christmas 19 years ago. If ever you want to talk with someone who understands more than most. please do not hesitate to call on me. You would have no way of knowing this but there is an informal bond among parents who have lost children. We are available 24-7 to others in this terrible club that none of us ever wanted to join. My thoughts are with you and your family as you face this incredibly difficult holiday. With great affection and heartfelt condolences, Judy

I had the priviledge of knowing John over the past decade as we dived together on a annual lobster hunting trip. As a "Bug Brother", John always brought a smile to my face, always was there to help, and never had a bad thing to say despite the challenges he faced. I can't imagine a trip without him. We will all honor John and he will never be forgotten.
