Dear Jack,
Your unduly modest obituary is a treasure. I am so grateful we were able to share dinner at your home in January. Along with the good vibes of that evening I also recall you had two space heaters pointed at the dining table and you were still chilled. Guess that should have been my clue that your heart was about to say goodbye.
My family has such beautiful memories of our times together; laughing at life and often at each other, loving anything horticultural, dishing about art and our fellow obsessed collectors and lots more most of which is inappropriate for this message:))
When life is said and done it is really about memories and you and David blessed us with such beautiful mental reminders of how truly beautiful friends are.
So Long Jack. We are taking good care of the giant Jade plant you gifted us 25 years ago.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person. John and his entire family were wonderful people to work for and work with. As brilliant as John was he had an unassuming personality and always showed care for others.
