Joseph Horgan Obituary
January 27, 1950 - March 19, 2021
Joseph Richard Horgan, 71, of Oakland, passed away after a brave battle with cancer. Joe was born in Philadelphia, PA and had a long career as an attorney in Olathe, KS. Joe is survived by his mother Amelia, wife Darlene, his sons Jason and Chris, their wives, Ceshia and Elena, granddaughters Autumn, Rea, and Daphne and siblings Michael, Christine and Vienna.

Mr Joe Horgan was a really good court appointed lawyer. He defended me in juvenile court back in 2001 in Olathe, Ks. Good guy with a warm spirit.

Joe was a classmate at KU Law. I occasionally ran into him at the JoCo courthouse and always enjoyed talking with him. It usually involved much more laughter than you would expect in a conversation between two lawyers.
I'm reminded of his quick wit, agile legal mind and wonderful sense of humor.
My prayers and condolences go out to his family.

I'm so sad to hear of Joe's passing. He was the best boss and a true friend. His sense of humor was the best! My sincere condolences to Darlene and the family. He was definitely one of kind and will be missed.
