Joe & I came into the department together in the same class. What a great guy. His courage was evident when we scaled the outside wall of the drill tower using "the sticks" together. This drill would strike terror in the heart of a window washer. To do that, with a fear of heights, Joe showed his strong personal courage and dedication. We all miss you, Joe.

What a pleasure to work with Joe at both 12 Truck and Radio. He was a great guy, an excellent fireman, had a wonderful sense of humor, and always seemed to have a grin on his face like he knew something you didn't know. It was obvious he loved his family very much as he spoke about them often. My sincere sympathy to all for your loss. Rest in peace, Joe.

My heart goes out to the Pardo family. I had the honor to work with Joe his last couple of years at Truck 12. Joe was a great man, devoted husband and father and loved his job as a firefighter, especially as the Tillerman. Joe will be joining some of his brothers from T12. May you find peace and happiness and I know you will be waiting for the rest of us with table cloth and candles. God Bless you Joe and your Family.
