KAREN CHOY Obituary
Jan 5, 1956 - Aug 14, 2012
Karen passed away peacefully surrounded by family, returning to our Lord after a hard fought battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Andy; loving mother to Ryan and Marissa; cherished daughter of Jessie Tong; and devoted sister to Danny (May), Sandy (Denise), Kris (Byron), Angie (Wilson), and Rodney (Susan). Proud aunt of Monica, Alexa, Nicholas, Jessica, Ashley, Jordan, Courtney, Davis, Joshua, Gregory, Michele, Robert and Derek. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, as well as a universe of friends, also survive Karen. Preceded in death by her father Stanton Tong.
Karen had a beautiful smile, friendly personality, and generous spirit, with a unique ability to build deep friendships in all walks of her life. She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of her life will
be held Sep 1st, 10:30 am, Calvary Presbyterian Church, 2515 Fillmore St, SF. Reception to follow. Public parking garage on Clay & Webster. For more information on Karen's life, see www.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/641153.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to a charity of your choice, or to Bank of America "Karen Choy Family Fund".

Both of us fondly remember Karen as our student at the elementary level and high school level in Daly City. We are sorry we couldn't attend her service on 9/1. We were in WI for our grandson's wedding. She was intelligent, dedicated, a great daughter and mother, fabulous personality, and will truly be missed by her family and friends.
