KATHERINE MELLON

Katherine Woodward Mellon Katherine "Kitty" Woodward Mellon of Stonington, Connecticut died March 30, 2012 after a long illness. She was 74 years old. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Latham Woodward of San Francisco, California. She was a longtime resident of San Francisco. A passionate lover of art, she was a board member of Art Services International and the American Friends of the Courtauldt Institute in London. She is survived by her daughter, Shrevie Hooker Shepherd and her three grandsons, James, George and Charles Shepherd of Gaborone, Botswana. She was also a step mother to Richard A. Mellon and Armour N. Mellon both of Ligonier, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara W. Vickers of Taos, New Mexico and her brother Bob Woodward of Bend, Oregon. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 27 at 11:00 at Calvary Episcopal Church, Stonington, Connecticut.
