I knew Ken many years ago when he was an usher ( skate guard) at South Amboy Roller Skating Rink in South Amboy, NJ for a very short time We all knew him to be such a kind, gentle, fun loving and genuine guyI was searching for a few “ old” timers and sadly came upon his obituary I passed it along to everyone who was still with us to try to put together a reunion of sorts even if just photos of all of our families etc I’ve gathered a few & would like to see if you would be open to sending a few photos of you, Ken, family & Bud if not that’s fine.. if I have enough responses from everyone I would like to print a little pamphlet & send to all.. if not ok I totally understand, so far not too many responses but if it doesn’t work out I would be glad to send pics back to you or could email me at lindaquick at optonline.net or message me at 7328815349.. it may not work out but I definitely would let you know one way or another.. if you’d like just text to my number
Thank you so much.. and again my sincerest sympathy although very belated to you and your family
Sincerely,
Linda Quick

Dear Marty and Family....I was very saddened and shocked to hear of Ken's passing. I will always remember the great times we had doing karaoke together! He was a wonderful man!

I just want to say that the Snyder family has lost a good man with his physical presence no longer here with them. I hope they take compfort in knowing that his spirit will always be with them. I am a long time friend of Kenny's brother Bud, we are like brothers, and I will always remember Kenny being there when we needed him during our younger days and we were not always on our best behavior! I would like the Snyder family to celebrate the time they had with Kenny and remember all the good he brought to them and to others.

Ken was one of a kind. When he gave his word, you didn't need a document. He lived by his word. His laugh could fill a room and oh, how he loved Marty and his family. They were his pride and joy.
I knew Ken through his work, along with Marty, in Karaoke. I watched as he joined in the singing and kept order when needed.
David Compton referred to him as a Man's Man.
I saw the kinder side, too, when my Mother (age 85 and frail) wanted to sing one night. Ken and Marty helped her up, got a chair on which she could sit, and brought tears to my eyes as I saw the pure joy on my Mother's face.
I'll not say Good-bye - just So Long for awhile. Till then, Rest in Peace, Ken. You WILL Be Missed!

To all of Ken's family I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I only met Ken a few times but he seemed to be a person who loved and enjoyed life. I know this is a shock to lose him so suddenly when he was doing so well after his surgery. No one can second guess the Lord's plan for all of us. The best way to honor Ken's memory is to love and help each other through this sad time.
In sympathy and love,
Connie (Bud's sister-in-law)
