Dear Fred, Kent, and the Busboom/Kobler families,
I was a high school class mate and deeply saddened to hear of your loss. I will remember Lauri's mischievous, observant comments followed by her room-filling laugh. She was never afraid to be joyfully silly, even during self-conscious teen years, and let the rest of us know not take ourselves too seriously. She made her profound intelligence fun. Her passing is a great loss.

I was so sorry to hear of Lauri's passing. I have great memories of working with her years ago and was happy to know of her recent move to a new job that seemed to excite her. She was an incredible talent and had the unique ability to accomplish so much while treating her co-workers with respect and handling herself with much modesty. A rare combination. She had a great sense of humor and an ability to see the good in all people and situations. She spoke often of her kids and was a very dedicated mom. Quite a loss for everyone who knew Lauri and my condolences to her family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Lauri's passing. She was a truly kind person. She attended my sons funeral only a little over a year ago. My heart goes out to her family at this difficult time.

Fred, Kent and the Busboom/Kober families are in my heart and mind during their time of sorrow. Lauri's passing is a great loss. It was startling and unexpected, but it leads us all to realize how short life really is, that each day is a gift, and that we should embrace those we love each and every day and tell them we love them. Her passing teaches that to us all. Lauri was a loving mother and kind person. May she rest in peace.
