Leo Ikeda Obituary

Leo Ryotaro Ikeda 1926 - 2008 Passed away peacefully on November 21, 2008 at the age of 82. He is survived by daughters Karen Ballack (Jon) and Cheryl Ikeda-Currie (Mike); son Eric Ikeda (Delia); and three cherished grandchildren, Kyle, Grant and Camryn. He was also a loving brother and uncle. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humor and constant willingness to help others. He had a very full life and touched the lives of many people. He will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held on Wed., December 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Southern Alameda County Buddhist Church, 32975 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, CA 94587, (510) 471-2581. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (Donation Designation: Prostate cancer) (www.cancer.org) or the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, CA (www.janm.org).
