Linda Lewis Obituary

Linda Gay Saunders Lewis Passed away peacefully and comfortably June 10, 2007 in San Francisco. She is survived by husband, Dane R. Lewis; her parents Joy Johnson and Dale Leroy Saunders; and her grandmother Juanita Johnson of Millbrae. Linda was a lifetime resident of San Mateo Co. born at Peninsula Hospital in Burlingame, Sept. 23, 1961. A Cappuccino High School flag girl (two years) and graduated with honors in 1979. Graduated from College of San Mateo with an associate of arts with High Honors in 1982 and nominated to permanent membership in Alpha Gamma Sigma. A beautiful, inquisitive, practical, generous, spiritual, gentle and caring Millbrae girl who walked to a different drum beat. Meeting Linda made a difference in your day. Linda is an organ and tissue transplant donor per her wishes and in doing so has saved the lives of others. Linda urges all of us to become organ and tissue donors. Our dearest Linda, you have enriched all our lives and you continue to enrich our lives. We are better people because we have known you. A Memorial and Celebration of her life is to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a gift to San Mateo County Parks, or plant a tree, preferably a fruit tree.
