Lois Agresti Obituary
May 14, 1930 - February 2, 2024
Late of Millbrae and San Mateo County resident for her entire life, entered into rest in San Mateo on February 2, 2024. Beloved wife of Nate Agresti for 73 years. Loving mother of Debby Spaulding (her husband Mark), David Agresti (his wife Cheryl) and Dorrie Simpson (her husband Robert). Dear sister of the late Edward DeMatei (his wife Diane). Also survived by her three grandchildren; six grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and dear friends.
A native of San Francisco, Calif., age 93 years. Lois was active with Catholic Charities; a longtime member of Italian Catholic Federation Branch 403 and longstanding parishioner at Saint Dunstan's Catholic Church in Millbrae; enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, travel; and both Lois and Nate were season ticket holders for the San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 after 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Chapel of The Highlands, El Camino Real at 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at Saint Dunstan Catholic Church in Millbrae and will conclude with a reception later that afternoon. Private committal will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma.
In lieu of flowers, her family prefers donations to Catholic Charities www.catholiccharitiessf.org (415) 972-1276, and Sutter Care at Home Hospice at www.suttercareathome.org.
