Lori Cohen Obituary

Lori Sue Cohen

In San Rafael on May 10, 2013 at age 52. Beloved wife of Adam Cohen for 22 years; loving mother of Samantha, Shelby and Shayna Cohen; adored daughter of Marilyn Shaw and the late Richard Shaw; dear sister of Lisa Fowler, Rick Shaw and Karen (Melvin) Ventura; cousin and aunt to many.

Lori loved the outdoors, especially Mt. Tamalpais and running the Dipsea. She had a zest for life and adventure. Lori loved the companionship of her running buddies from the Tamalpa Club and the incredible community of friends from Larkspur and the surrounding area who supported her and the family with love, kindness and overwhelming generosity. She had a passion for her pets. Most of all, Lori derived tremendous joy from watching her beautiful daughters grow up.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 2:00pm at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery, 2500 Fifth Ave., San Rafael. In lieu of flowers, donations to The ALS Association Golden West Chapter, PO Box 565, Agoura Hills, CA 91376, would be kindly appreciated.
