Louise Jones Obituary

Louise Lillian Jones 93, died peacefully Aug. 28, 2007 in Keene, TX. Louise was born Aug. 3, 1914 in Lincoln, NE, to Edward Michael and Estella E. Pfeffer Phelan. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She married Jay Edward Jones on Dec. 27, 1946 in Carson City, NV. She was a resident of Menlo Park, CA, for 30 years. She was full of life and laughed a lot at herself and life in general. Louise and her family spent their summers vacationing in Lake Tahoe as well as skiing there in the winter. She was a devout Roman Catholic who was a member of the St. Denis Church in Menlo Park, CA, until the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia who died shortly after birth in 1951 and her husband Jay who died Dec. 12, 2003; her parents; sister, Margaret "Peggy" Clark; brother, Arthur A. Phelan. Survivors are, son, Timothy Edward Jones, wife Luanne and grandson Stephen Jones of Joshua, TX; Bryan and Erin Sellers of Joshua, TX; Kambria and Eder Marski of Burleson, TX with her great-grandchildren Eric and Elena Marski; grandson, Michael and his wife Danielle Jones of Willits, CA, and their children, great-grandchildren, Tairen, Tanner and Conner Jones; Thomas Jones of Willits, CA; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Marie Jones, Vincent James Jones and Scott Gunner Jones of Willits, CA. Graveside Service, 3:00pm, Thursday, Sept. 6. Burial, D-FW National Cemetery, Grand Prairie, TX. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research.
