Madeleine Lallemand Obituary

Madeleine Lallemand Passed away peacefully at home on November 4th. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ren Lallemand, the love of her life for 62 years, who passed away in 2004. Mrs. Lallemand was a resident of San Mateo for 49 years and the loving mother of Gerard (Carole) Lallemand and Eliette Pizzo, the devoted grandmother of John (Laurie) Lallemand, Michael (Diane) Lallemand, Michael (Helen) Pizzo, Jacqueline Pizzo, and the great-grandmother of Christopher and Kelly Lallemand and Matthew and Hunter Lallemand. In France, she is survived by Aim (Micheline) Lallemand and Isabelle (Ghislain) Dubois, Jacqueline and Daniel Roig, Helene et Simone Lescuyer and Roger and Alice Sotelo. Mrs. Lallemand was born in Nantes, France. With her husband and children she moved to Montreal and then New York before settling in San Mateo. She loved being part of the French community of the Bay Area where she made many friends. She was a longtime member of the Blessed Sacrament Society of Notre Dame des Victoires and the Good Shepherd Guild. She was most appreciative, as is her family, of the loving care provided by Ana Ayala and by Kaiser Hospice staff during the last months of her life. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Church of Notre Dame des Victoires, 566 Bush Street, S F., CA 94108. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, 1310 Bacon Street, S. F. 94134 or to Notre Dame des Victoires. McAVOY O'HARA CO 415-668-0077 Paul A. Domergue Assc
