Manuel M. Esta of Daly City, CA passed away on February 9, 2018 after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and friends during the last days of his life. Manuel was born in Laoag City, Philippines. He immigrated to the United States in 1977, and has lived in Daly City, CA. the remainder of his life.Manuel is survived by his wife Magdalena Esta and children Christine and husband Joseph Rocero, Gerry and wife Charrisa Torralba Esta, Madeline and husband Robert McClelland, Dennis Jimmy and wife Jane K. Esta and Dominic Esta, and his 7 grandchildren Marion, Nika, Justine, Bobby, Jasmine, Anne and Jaden Manuel. He is also survived by his sister Gladys Esta Geronimo and husband Sabino A. Geronimo, and 2 brothers, Valerio M. Esta and wife Ofelia C. Esta and Dante M. Esta and wife Elizabeth R. Esta, also survived by many loving uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is a former employee of American District Telegraph Company and a life member of the Nortenian of San Francisco and the Bay Area.
Visitation will be Sunday, 2/18 and Monday 2/19 starting at 3:00 PM with the Rosary Vigil on Monday at 7:00 PM at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. Daly City.
The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, 2/20 at 11:00 AM St. Thomas More Church, 1300 Junipero Serra Blvd. San Francisco, followed immediately by interment at Olivet Memorial Park, 1601 Hillside Blvd. Colma.
