Marc Lieberman Obituary
July 7, 1949 - Aug 2, 2021
Marc F. Lieberman, of San Francisco, CA, passed away on Monday, Aug 2, 2021 at the age of 72. He is survived by his son, Michael Lieberman (Svetlana Lyubchenko); step-children, Menina Newman and Ketzia Schoneberg; brothers, Victor Lieberman and Rabbi Elias (Lori) Lieberman; grandchildren, Sam and Max Lieberman and former wives, Alicia Lieberman and Nancy Garfield, and partner Ellen Levin. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Annette Lieberman.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, August 8th, 2021, at 1:00 pm. Interment Arlington Chizuk Amuno, N. Rogers Avenue. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the International Campaign for Tibet, 1825 Jefferson Place, NW, Washington, DC, 20036.

My condolences to the Lieberman family. I did not know Marc but knew his parents well and his uncle Morris very well. Uncle Morris Lieberman married my husband Frank and I and Dr. Alfred operated on me many years ago. Alfred and Annette were friends of my parents, Dr. Arthur and Sylvia Mandy. Seeing Marc's life trajectory, both in Baltimore and Tibet brought back many Baltimore memories. Both his father and uncle were strong minded men, while also being sensitive and caring souls.
