Margene Brignetti of San Francisco, CA peacefully passed away on January 6th, 2022, surrounded by family. Margene was born in SF on November 19th, 1943, to Gino and Marian Fanucchi. She grew up in the City and graduated from Mercy High School. In 1967, she met Louis Brignetti, and they married later that year. Margene and Lou went on to have three sons, Dominic, Chris and Tony.Margene worked as an executive secretary at PG&E for over 20 years but was very involved in her sons' school, St. Philip's. She served as PTA President, team transport in the Green Van as well as a lector at Church mass. Later in life Margene volunteered at St. Philips and at Little Sisters of the Poor. Following retirement, Margene and Lou enjoyed relaxing and traveling the world.Margene was predeceased by her parents, Gino & Marian. She is survived by her husband, Louis and their children Dominic (Jennifer), Chris (Sarah) and Tony (Angela), and four grandchildren Ethan, Emily, Lucia and Ginger. She is also survived by her siblings Sharon, Gene and Dawn and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, January 12, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, Diamond and Elizabeth Streets, where the Rosary will be offered at 9:30 a.m. and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Contributions preferred to Little Sisters of the Poor, 300 Lake St, San Francisco, CA 94118.

Dominic, Chris and Tony so sorry for your loss. I remember your mom giving a bunch of us a ride to see Police academy in freshman year of high school. She was very funny and patient putting up with a bunch of teenage boys God bless her. Will keep you in my prayers during this tough time.

We are thinking of all the Brignetti Family this morning as you celebrate Margene and her beautiful life. I am blessed to have known Margene who was always so full of love and life. I'm especially remembering with great fondness all the fun and laughter we shared throughout many happy years. Peace to all the family and much love ~

I remember Margene fondly from my days at PG&E. She was smart, funny, and always kind. My deepest sympathies to the Brignetti family on the loss of your wonderful wife and mother.
