So sorry to hear about her passing .Hopefully her legacy "Millbrae Pancake House" will remain just as she left it.With the help of loyal, kind and attentive employees it will remain so. Our mother "Mamie" passed 2 days prior to Marie's and she always looked forward to her "Strawberry Waffle" and delicious coffee maybe they're having a cup together now. Whomever takes over "MPH" please treat employee's with the same respect and dignity, care that Marie gave them because that is what made it such a Fun Place to Go all these years. Sincerely Anne P.

The Alan family offers our sincerest condolences to the Mulcrevy's on the passing of Marie. Our fathers, Byron Alan and Frank Mulcrevy worked together at the Pacific Title Insurance Company in San Francisco for about 40 years. Our families shared many memorable social occasions. Marie was my God mother and was very kind to me while I was growing up. Marie will be in our prayers and thoughts.

I'll never forget everything Marie has done for us. Marie sure loved to pick on me and in all honesty I loved hearing her do it. I know she cared for my family and me very deeply. I enjoyed all our visits and many trips we took. My heart will have an empty spot for Marie every time I go by the Pancake House or the residence on Portola.

It is with many tears of sadness and joyous reflection that I write on behalf of my Mother, Edy Drake, and myself, Paula-Jo Husack. Marie was so gracious, stylish, and real! She was forever inquisitive and genuinely interested in our lives. Her sparkling eyes and lilting laugh is with us this moment and will remain. She loved her garden and the artistry of flowers. Was it a coincidence that she probably didn't consider as a woman of humility: That she, too, was naturally beautiful inside out.
She and my Mother were enduring friends, from the first day that Millbrae Pancake House opened. She made our lives much easier, with such respect, motivation, understanding and joy--- as my Mom began working for her as a single mom way back then. In fact, both she and Frankie were "twins" in these qualities. She continued as an extraordinary girlfriend in my Mom's life to her last day. Marie was on my first "team" of cheerleaders in my quest for a college education, from age 6---yes, that far back. Her memory for the details of each member of her gigantic family was extraordinary to me. There is so much more I can say, as my heart is full of memories and thankfulness. Instead, let me take this moment to thank all of you, her loved family, for the happiness you brought to her each day. Marie's gifts to us all will exceed her physical time here for generations to come. Love from Paula-Jo and Edy
