Marvin Rossi Obituary

Marvin Rossi May 22, 1937 - October 22, 2008. Marvin was born in San Francisco, son of Calvin Rossi and Tosca Francesconi. Marvin was happily married to Adrienne Rossi for 43 years. He is survived by his two children Karen and Mark Rossi. Marvin was a true San Francisco native who was very proud of his Italian American heritage. He was especially fond of his memories growing up in North Beach. He actively participated in the Salesian Boys' Club where he established lifelong friendships. He was a proud graduate of St. Ignatius High School and the University of San Francisco. In 1970 he and his family moved to Marin County where he raised his two children. Later in life, he enjoyed playing bocce ball with his team and attended numerous events as a member of the Native Sons of Fairfax and the Italian Athletic Club of Marin. He lived life to the fullest and will be missed by all that knew him. A Rosary service will be held at Monte's Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo at 7:30 PM on Monday, October 27. A Mass celebrating Marvin's life will be held Tuesday, October 28, at 11:00 AM at St. Anselm's church in San Anselmo. Memorial contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to the Salesian Boys' and Girls' Club of San Francisco.
