Mas Tsukasaki Obituary

Mas G. Tsukasaki, DDS Passed away Fri, Nov. 24, 2006 in Berkeley, at age 89. A native of San Francisco, and 84-year resident of Berkeley. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Etsuko P. Tsukasaki of Berkeley; daughter, Corinne Burrus of Washington State; and sons, Clyde Tsukasaki of Santa Clara, and Bruce Tsukasaki of Berkeley. Dr. Tsukasaki graduated from Berkeley High School in 1935, graduated from Cal Berkeley in 1939, and received his doctorate from UCSF Dental School in 1941. During World War II he served as an officer in the US Army in Europe; he remained in the US Army Reserve, and retired as a colonel in 1967. Dr. Tsukasaki had a dental practice in Berkeley for many years; retired 1982. Member, Sons In Retirement, Chapter 64, Berkeley, where he served as president 1988-89; and Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Epsilon Alpha Dental Societies, both at Cal Berkeley. Private family services have already been held; cremation and interment, Sunset View Cemetery, El Cerrito. Sunset View Mortuary Tel. (510) 525-5111
