To the whole Crivelo Family...
Please accept my deepest sympathies. I played in a band with Mike (LIX) many years ago. I have nothing but the fondest memories of Mike and his passion for music. I spent many hours in your garage turned practice studio sharing Mike's love for music. To this day I still think of Mike whenever I hear the band Asia. Mike really loved that band at the time we were playing together. I also wrote a ballad called Friends & Lovers which our band recorded in a studio in Pacifica back in 1985. Mike was so proud of the sound he got out of his Yamaha DX7 on that track. And rightly so... Mike's talent on the keyboards MADE that song. Every time I listen to that track I will always remember Mike. I am so sorry for your loss. Best Wishes Always, Karl Grossman

I'm sad to hear that Mike has moved on from this life. I worked with him at Long's in the late 80's. I also was into music and at that time he introduced me to "Runner Up" When visiting home I'd always find him at work to say hi and he always greeted me like I'd never left.
His friendship never faded. God Bless.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Crivello and Family...I just heard of Mike's passing and am very sorry to hear the news. Mike and I worked at Long's together and spent countless nights playing music in the basement of his home. He was always smiling, talking about music and the best person you ever wanted to meet. Mike and I were both huge Journey fans and I will always remember Mike and the musicianship he taught me, the music he introduced me to and the good times that we had in the music scene in the bay area, Although he will live on in our hearts, heaven now has one of the best keyboardists around and I know Mike is still playing and making them smile.

The Crivello Family and my dear friend Galen,

Your Brother Mike's passing has touched many people"s hearts to grieve with you. Mike, I knew through his Love for Music and my sister Cynthia working with him. Mike always wore a sweet smile and his demeanor was so approachable. Then I was given the opportunity from Mike to Hire his Brother Galen at the Good Guys Stereo! Galen, is as sweet and a True gentleman as his older brother Mike is. To the Crivello parents, you raised two fine boys that I had the pleasure of knowing and I know God has a bigger plan for Mike in Heaven free from life"s burdens here. R.I.P. Mike. Love and Music forever is Yours~ Donna Coutchavlis-Wong

I met Mike as a Long's customer at Bayhill in San Bruno. He will not only be missed by family and friends but by also the world because we need more of his kind. He was always friendly and quick to help everyone he came in contact with him. To his family, I say, take comfort in knowing that he will always live in our memories.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Crivello,
I am so saddened to hear of Michael's passing. I was honored to be able to see MIchael as a visiting nurse. He immediately touched my heart, as he was so kind and calm even in the midst of his difficult diagnosis. He even took time to make my daughter a CD of Journey. At one visit he played the piano for me, which gave us both joy. He was so talented and had such enthusiasm for his music. I was so hoping he would be able to play that one last time on July 1st, but it wasn't to be.
My heart goes out to you both as I lost my 23yr. old son 4yrs. ago. Our children are not supposed to go before us. My thoughts and prayers are with you everyday at this difficult time.
I felt a definite bond with Michael. I could tell how much love and respect he had for both of you.
Sadly,
Teri Arbues, Sutter VNA

To the Crivello family, I was shocked to hear of Mike's passing and I am so sorry for your loss. MIke was a great human being and such a kind person and there wasn't a bad bone in his body. Mike went to High School with my cousin Dave Sfarzo at Crestmoor and they played in some bands together back in the 80's. I am also a musician and often talked to Mike about our music. I am a sales rep and service Longs and used to see MIke all of the time when he worked there. He will really be missed by all.
May God bless your family, Mike is in heaven with our father now and I am sure he knows how much everyone cared for him.

God Bless,
Chris Sfarzo

From the shy little boy who barely spoke in school, to hanging out at your studio in Burlingame and listening to write and play music, to following your bands (RunnerUp, Catch22... to recent Journey Unauthorized). I hope you know you were and will always be MY HERO! I miss you so much! Your loss is going be a tough one to tackle, Buddy! Rest in Peace, I love you!

I was so saddened and shocked to hear of Mike's passing. Mike and I worked at Longs together for a few years and became fast friends...he was one of the kindest, gentlest souls around. Always kind and polite, never quick to anger, easy to laugh and fun to talk to. Although I haven't seen him in about 3 years, I'll miss him. The world was a better place because he was in it. My deepest sympathies go out to his family.

Dear Crivello Family, I am very sorry for the loss of Mike. He and I were good friends since my earliest childhood memories. Mike lived three houses up the street from me on Princton Drive. We shared many wonderful times playing together in the woods behind our homes, talking about our first girlfriends, and listening to him play the drums. We spent many countless hours listening to Michael Jackson and American Top 40 in his soundproof room because he loved music. When my brother Daniel Sullivan unexpectedly died in February 2007, I left Austin and visted SF, yet there was no one at the Crivello family home. I saw the Manley family and others, and missed an opportunity to see you. I remember that everyone loved Mrs. Crivello's sushi. I hope you remember the hundreds of days Mike and I spent playing on your grassy hill on Whitman Way, and our running up and down the red wood stairs on the side of your house (even though we were not supposed to). May these fond memories of your wonderful son and brother bring you comfort. With love and condolences.

I was so sad to read about Mike's passing. I went to school with Mike since John Muir elementary. I saw him play with his band at Route 66 years ago and saw him often while he worked at Longs in Bayhill. We'd talk about music, of course. He was truly one of the nicest people I have had to pleasure of knowing.

My thoughts are with his loved ones.

You left us way too soon. I will always remember Mike's friendly face from all his years working at Long's in Bayhill. I will remember our many conversations about the Bay Area music scene. We shared the same taste in music. I really enjoyed his work with Journey Unauthorized and will miss his talents in a big way. Rest in peace Michael.
