Mirella Brattesani Obituary

BRATTESANI, Mirella - Passed away peacefully on February 1, 2005 in San Francisco with her loving family at her side. Born Mirella Delle Sedie in Lucca, Italy, she emigrated as a young girl to San Francisco with her family in 1955. In 1958 she married her beloved John Brattesani, founder of Caesar's Italian Restaurant, San Francisco. Johnny and Mirella were married for 46 wonderful years. Mirella will be tremendously missed by her adoring family; son, Dr. Steven J. Brattesani, his wife Lena and their 2 year old son Gianni; daughter, Dr. Cynthia Brattesani and her 6 1/2 year old son, Mark; brother, Massimo Delle Sedie and his wife, Gina; brother-in-law Joe Brattesani and wife, Donna and numerous close family members and great friends in the U.S., Italy and Brazil. No one who knew Mirella will ever forget her. She shall be remembered for her beauty, elegance and grace. She dedicated her life to her family and the legacy of her love will flourish forever. We will love you always. A private family funeral service will be held in her honor.
