Myra and I met in BCBP Youth Formation in 1988 and we have been friends since then. She taught me how to laugh and appreciate the small things, in the midst of trials. Even when things went awry in my personal and professional life, she was there to support, comfort and pray with me.
Myra gave me my start in events/projects management, her encouragement and faith in my skills and talent paved the way for me to achieve my dreams and enjoy my success at present.
My best memory of her will have both of us hysterically laughing at nothing and everything in between. She will always be remembered with fondness and gratitude.

Hi,
I met ATE MYRA when she joined SFC(VALLEJO),she was on thesame batch with my brother,i remember her sharing her experienced during their baptism night..she was very dedicated in her service to the LORD,thats why we all looked up to her as the BIG ATE of the group, eventhough i didnt get the chance to be in her household,i have the most unfogettable experience with ATE MYRA,one time she helped me settled outside ST. PATRICK's CATHEDRAL in downtown SF when she found me in respiratory distress(from my bronchitis 2yrs ago), she came to approach me if i was alright,we were both surprised, she said she didnt expect to see me, neither i?..it was totally a coincidence that had happened of all the people, i was so happy she comforted my back at that time, then the last time i talked to her was right after our brother anthony's viewing ceremony 2 mos ago,she asked me why i wasnt serving SFC(VALLEJO) anymore? even told me.."DONT WORK TOO HARD,TINE?"(which made me so guilty about)but then
i never thought that, that would be my last hug and goodbye kiss for HER, ATE MY's laughs will always be remembered..
again..condolence to ATE MYRA's family..SHE WILL REMAIN AS OUR FRIEND AND A SISTER in CHRIST FOREVER.

the few years that i knew ate myra, i have nothing but good things to say about her. i met her through a common friend and she made it easy for me to get to know her. although i'm going through rough seas, she always made sure that she pointed out the positive side of things. always encouraging, faithful, bubbly, and kind-hearted. i wouldn't say she's a loss because i know her memory and legacy would last forever. it is however painful. we might hurt now but time will pass and when we remember her, we would smile. because that's ate myra, a beautiful smiling soul.
rest in peace ate myra. thanks for your friendship and you will be missed dearly!

Hi,
I know Ate Myra from SFC. She always called me Ava girl. Ate My and I share a love for travelling and shopping, which are two of the reasons we got on so well.
Ate My was very eager to hear about my trip to Europe and was planning on going there next year.
Ate My, now you can fly to anywhere in the world and you can tell me all about it when we see each other again.
Your ever infectious laugh will always be missed.

I knew Myra as a good friend and classmate in college. Later on I discovered how she hungered for meaning and for spiritual connection. In her I found a kindred spirit. She was such a thoughtful friend and a bundle of joy.
I will miss her...
I continue to pray for her and for her beloved. May all of us find solace and peace.

I will always remember Myra as full of life and infectious energy. She had so much love to give, which is part of why it is so sad that her time on earth was cut short. My prayers are with all who grieve for their loss.

Left on earth, we wonder 'why?'
But some are sent among us briefly.
Some have spirits meant to fly."

It is with deep regret that I had not taken the time to tell Myra just how much I really appreciated her as a person and friend, beyond being a YFPA member. Her encouragement, enthusiasm and her willingness to help will always be remembered.

This is really sad. I saw Myra October '07 for lunch and great conversation. That was the first time after graduation. We even sent text messages late January '08 to plan our next get together.
I wish I could go to the wake in Manila. I received this link only now, I will try to go to San Pablo.
Prayers and condolences to her whole family.
God Bless!
