My dear friend, Myrtle was like a big sister to me. I have so much respect for her as a person, as a Black woman professional in the workplace who was ahead of her time. Myrtle worked at a time when Black women were not respected or wanted in the workplace.
She lived her life on her own terms driven by her own set of values and principles. Myrtle never compromised her values. She was strong and wise and shared information with me that has guided me throughout my life. I could call her anytime and talk with her about anything. I miss my friend and my big sister.

My remembrances of Mother White will always reflect the kindness of her soul and the warm embrace of her spirit she shared with me whenever we engaged each other! I was her Tony Bear who she entrusted to be a good husband to Lori, her eldest daughter. I hope I fulfilled her expectations. May she rest in eternal peace!

Blessings to a BEAUTIFUL LADY who's light was a shining beacon. I haven't know Ms. White or her Daughters long, but they treated me as family.
I will miss her laughter, her love of Bay Area Sports and her kindness.
Always,
Cheryl Anderson
