I wish to express my condolences to the Miljevich family on Nick's passing. My mother, Marion Ljepava Cunningham, and her brothers, Arch & Don, had a life-long relationship with Nick. We always enjoyed his home visits (his cigar...not so much!) Personally, I loved his booming voice and chuckled at his larger-than-life personality. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed.

My condolences to the family and friends of Nick Miljevich.

I knew Nick through my involvement with the Saratoga Fire Department, and our mutual friend George Novakovich who passed a number of years ago.

I always thought that Nick would live to be 100 and still be able to tell stories. He was a true raconteur, and he liked to have a good meal, a drink or two, and a good quality Churchill style cigar.

When it is time for me to pass, I hope to see Nick on the other side, handing me about three fingers of good whiskey in a cut crystal glass, and a one of those Churchill "claro" style cigars. We will swap stories.

Nick was a good and generous friend to many people, and all of us will miss him.

On behalf of my parents, Pete and Evelyn Camarda who have both passed away 10 months apart this past year, I send to the Family my condolences. Nick would visit them in Cupertino over the past year and they all loved to talk about their days growing up in such a great City. Such stories they had!
