Nuria Higueras Obituary
Nuria passed away in April surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 65 years. Nuria was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Nuria is survived by her husband, Charles; her daughter, Justine (and Matt); and son, Alex. Nuria has one beloved grandchild, Aila, who she absolutely adored. She also has numerous nieces and nephews; as well as grandnieces and grandnephews. Nuria was born and raised in the Philippines and also in Spain. She and her family moved to San Francisco, where she attended Mercy High School followed by Mills College. Nuria enjoyed travel, interior design, orchids, cooking, the mountains, and Disneyland, but mostly, her bliss was spending time with her family and friends at home and abroad. She will be truly missed by so many.

Dear Chuck, Justine, Alex and family. I was stunned to read about your beautiful wife and mom´s passing in the St B newsletter . She was so amazing. I worked with her on many LCA fundraising events throughout the years. What a bright light. I loved her smile and laugh. It´s been many years since we have seen each other but I remember like yesterday her beautiful smile , such a sweet happy soul. Peace to you and your family.

Meeting Nuria at St. Brendan's and through LCA was a joy. She was always willing to help and do it graciously. I am so sorry for the pain and grief you are feeling and I pray that your faith will help you carry this heavy burden. Many people are praying for her and for you.
