Patricia Jean Chelone (nee Sullivan) passed away peacefully on August 22, 2022. She was 94 years old. She is predeceased by her loyal husband of 61 years, Albert John Chelone, loving parents Rose (Chrenik) Sullivan and Ambrose Sullivan, sisters Audrey Hall, Eileen McQuaid, June Dunne, Betty Wentworth, and Dolores Comisky, and brothers Thomas Sullivan, Robert Sullivan, and Richard Sullivan. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Joan Chelone, two granddaughters, Elisa Patricia (Fabio) Cinelli and Alesya May Jennings, and one great-granddaughter, Kiara Maria Cinelli.
A third-generation San Franciscan, Patricia grew up on Arlington Street. She was the eighth of nine children and the youngest girl in the family. She attended Balboa High School and later worked as a secretary for the federal government. Patricia married Albert Chelone in 1950 at Saint Paul's Catholic Church and gave birth to her daughter, Susan, in 1951.
An avid crafter, Patricia's hands were always busy with projects like quilting or sewing Halloween costumes for her granddaughters. She also enjoyed gardening, playing poker with friends and family, and taking trips to Reno, Nevada. Her greatest joy was spending time with the children in the family, especially her great-granddaughter, Kiara.
