Patty Jo Vorsatz (Parma), a native San Franciscan, passed away on August 25, 2025, at her home in Hillsborough surrounded by her family. Her love and generosity experienced by friends and family will be missed.
She was born on November 6, 1945, in San Francisco, and attended George Washington High School.
In her early adult years, Patty worked for Clyde Cournale at Cournale & Co. Insurance in San Francisco, where her humor and warmth made her a cherished colleague. She met her husband, Paul, in 1973, and they were married on October 25, 1975, and shared nearly 50 years of marriage together. She worked alongside Paul at his law firm as a bookkeeper for many years. She devoted her life to raising their two sons, Dustin (born 1986) and Maximilian (born 1990), and she was active in their schools and the local community.
Patty volunteered regularly, serving as a school room-mother, a holiday volunteer for families in need through Catholic charities, as an Ombudsman for elderly hospital patients, and a supporter of the Peninsula Humane Society. She loved animals dearly and could often be found feeding the squirrels from her porch alongside her cats, Trixie and Lucie.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; sons, Dustin and Maximilian; brother, Joseph Parma Jr.; and many extended family members and friends.
Patty will be remembered for her generosity, compassion, and devotion to her family and community.
Patty is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peninsula Humane Society.
