As a former student of his at COM in the mid 70's he inspired his students with his extensive knowledge of history,politics, philosophy, as well as Sociology and combined those topics in a challenging format. RIP

Paul was a great conversationalist. During our time together as academic colleagues it was rare to not talk about the world at large on a daily basis. My thoughts are with his surviving family and I send them a lot of love.
