I have known Paul for decades and can call him a friend that kept in constant contact even after I retired from my legal practice. His memory will always be with me and even has prompted me to again, look up his obituary to renew his image that I always carry with me From his legacy of children of whom he was always proud, kept me abreast of their development and his thoughts of having more. A very bright and intelligent individual in whose trust and knowledge I could refer clients for his guidance and legal advice in his quest for establishing conservatorships to help others. It pains me to even have the thought that he has departed. God bless you Paul and I am sure you have a place in one of God's many mansions. Now you are at peace and can endeavor in learning about your new home, surroundings and endless number of friends of whom you can write about to all the angels. Floyd Parma

I just received notice of Paul's passing from a mutual friend today. It was a very sad news to me. Paul and I had many connections. We both served in the Army Reserve together in the 1970's and 80's. Our time together took us to Germany for several years, working with the German Bundeswehr. Paul did a great job being liaison in the Karlsruhe area and added greatly to accomplishing our mission. Paul and I also spent time in Wyoming hunting antelope and deer. He was an avid hunter and had traveled to many overseas places hunting. His home had many trophy mounts. We also served together as Hunter Safety Instructors for the Department of Fish and Game. Many fond memories continue to surface as I think about our days together. I moved to Washington State in the late 80's and unfortunately we lost touch. Paul was always a fine friend, a very dedicated Officer and a pleasure to serve with.

Paul was also a Naval Academy Blue and Gold officer. He paved the way for many young women and men in attaining appointments to the Academy. Thank you Paul for your leadership and friendship.

I met Paul at the San Mateo Elks Club many years ago. He was not shy about introducing himself. He always had a funny joke to share. I will miss him, his ever present smile, and his warm personality and humor. My condolences go to his family.

Paul had many of the same attributes of his father especially a generous smile. My father Karl Orth and Paul’s father were great friends. My condolences to his family and to all of his siblings whom I knew growing up.
