I worked for Paul at Grodin's in Hayward during the 1970's. Paul became my mentor in the years after my dad passed away.
His strong, yet very gentle guidance helped me through some very hard times and will never be forgotten.
I pass on his advice he told me many times...
"Fly low and slow..."
My thoughts and prayers are with Paul's family and many friends.

Dear Paul, Kathy, Ceci and Chris,
Uncle Paul will live in my memory like a gentle light.
Times staying with your family in Hayward when Marcia and I were kids. Times at the Russian River swimming with him. His kindness to my beloved Aunt Joan and to my mother. And most of all his loving nature and kind spirit.
I am sorry I can't be with you but will be with you in spirit.

Our prayers are with Paul and his family as he makes his final journey home to God.

Paul and Joannie have been special in our lives since we began at St. Clement Church in 1975. Paul would visit me often at our SPRED office when it was at St. Clement and we also enjoyed his being with us for a few dinners at our home. We have known no one more faithfilled and "living the faith" than Paul. He is truly at peace with his beloved God and family who are already in heaven.

Prayers and love to Paul's family,
Mary and Bill Huston

I worked with Paul at Grodins and then kept in touch with him through his wonderful work with the Diocese of Oakland. I will always remember Paul as a man with a warm heart. Paul was always thought of as the most Christ like human we knew. Paul, rest in peace. You have far beyond earned your place with Joan by Christ's side. To your family, your father has left you a wonderful legacy. My prayers are with you.

To Paul's Family,
I worked with Paul for 10 years at Grodins and always loved his zest for life and his sense of humor. His work ethic was above reproach. May his journey be swift. God bless you all.
