Much loved by husband of 48 years, Ken, sisters Claire Rovegno and Christine Bruch, daughters Tracy and Jill, son-in-law Jason Reiger, grandchildren Leo, Evan, Carmen and Ivy, and many family and friends. Paula was infinitely accepting and generous: you could always rely on her for the loan of her car, cash or couch. People crossed oceans for her lasagna and cheesecake. During her 25+ years as a teacher and later director of Telegraph Hill Children's Center, Paula was an extraordinary educator and advocate for children and families in North Beach and Chinatown. She was a San Francisco native who grew up in the Richmond District and lived her entire adult life on Union Street, a traveler who loved Florence, Santa Fe and Long Whatton, England. But we'll remember Paula best at Russian River – in the sun, white wine with ice and a Marlboro in hand, James Taylor on the radio. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Ken, Tracy and Jill,
I just learned of her passing from Supervisor Norman Yee as he chokingly talked about her today at the Board of Sups. meeting. I bake her cheesecake recipe for my son's birthday and at Christmas each and every year. My heart goes out to each of you. Tel Hi nurse and friend,

Paula was of a different time and place. She helped us when no one else, friend or family, could or would. Because of her, my daughter had a fighting chance. Gone too soon...

Ken, Tracy and Jill,
Shocked and saddened to hear of Paula's passing. She was very special. I have very fond memories of our many years at St Brigid as room moms. I really think we had more fun than the kids! May your loving memories help you through this very difficult time. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
With Love,
Kathy Rossi and Family

I could not believe that dear Paula passed away at such a young age. Ken, Tracy, Jill, please accept my heartfelt condolences and prayers on the passing of one of the Greats. I will place dear Paula's name on our weekend Prayer List at the Cathedral, and on our bulletin list as well.
Unfortunately, due to Congregational business meetings, I cannot attend the Celebration.
Lovingly,
Sister Esther
