Peggy Gay Meyers Entertainer May 22, 1926 - September 2, 2008 Born in Seattle, WA, Peggy started entertaining at the tender age of 3, singing on stage and radio. She graduated with a bachelors degree in music at Cal-Berkeley. During this time she was performing in the popular theater lounges of San Francisco like the Crystal Bowl, and Bimbo's 365 and was a member of the Musician Local Six Union. Meyers. She appeared at the Sherman Hotel in Chicago, as well as starring in night clubs, radio and TV shows throughout the country. Shortly after getting married Gerald and Peggy moved to San Francisco in 1956. In 2005 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Peggy passed away peacefully at her home in San Francisco with her devoted husband Gerald and two sons by her side on September 2, 2008 at age 82. Peggy was the daughter of Coral and Carl Gay; sister of Shirley and Lorraine; the beloved wife of Gerald L Meyers. She was the devoted mother of Neal and Dale; grandmother of Sean and Shelby, Brandon and Antonio, Julio and Noelia. Peggy was a joy and delight to all her family and friends she will be sorely missed.

Dear Jerry,
We were very saddened to hear of Peggy's passing. We will always remember our golf games at Graeagle and how Peggy always hit a straight ball...unlike the rest of us! She was always so cheery and a delight to be around. We are thinking of you and send you our deepest sympathy.
With love,

I remember a wonderful person, a delight to listen to as she sang and played piano. I'll miss her and love her, always.
