My dear Uncle Randy,
When Johnny died, my father stood up and read a poem he had written to ease his path to heaven.
When my father died, Steven read the same poem.
I wanted to stand up and read it for you but didn't have the strength. So many sad moments this year.
So I will write it here, and know that it will get to you through my heart.
Heaven's Light (by Tom Jackson)
As I walked through the light, I could see, what a beautiful world this must be. No hurt, no pain, no sorrow would remain.
Where angels set in clouds of white. Clouds that shine where there is no night. Oh sweet angel I can see, what a beautiful world this must be.
Where blue sky's shine bright and clear. Where God walks among us there is no fear. Where angels sing throughout the day, where loved one's are with us, come what may.
As I walked through the light, I could see, what a beautiful world this must be. For the day has come for me to be, in Heaven's light for eternity.
I will miss you so very much Uncle Randy.
With love,
Dana
