Richard was a great recovery friend for many years. Conversations over coffee sharing humor and wisdom was his specialty. The world misses Richard!

I knew Richard both in College at Penn as well as in our later professional years in the San Francisco Bay Area. Will always remember our sailing adventures on the Bay, particularly rowing his dingy from his anchored sailboat into Ghirardelli Square for additional sustenance at the Buena Vista, eg. Irish coffees! on a brisk San Francisco evening. Many wonderful memories. May he rest in peace and love.

Richard is a huge loss to anyone who had the opportunity to know him. A wise, kind, humble person, I offer my sincere condolences to his family in Spain and U.S. We shared chats over coffee in Barcelona in August 2018 after a meeting and we stayed in touch since. Was meant to visit him in November in Asturias, was so dismayed and shocked to hear of his passing...

One of the last photos I have of daddy and I. We made it to the Cathedral de Santiago on his birthday 2019. I miss you daddy and I love you very much.
