Rita Merlino Obituary

Rita Merlino Passed away peacefully, embraced by the love of her family, at the age of 87. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Victor. Survived by her caring daughters Marilyn & Diane; her adored grandchildren Brian, Andrew, & Elizabeth; her cherished great-grandchildren Brendan, Molly, & Silas; her loving brother, John Dallara; as well as nieces, nephews, & cousins. She was a sweet, kind, & gentle person and the best mom in the world. We will all miss you. Friends may visit after 10:00AM on Fri, Aug 19, and are invited to attend the funeral liturgy at 11:00AM, all at Valente Marini Perata & Co., 4840 Mission St., SF. Committal to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma.

Dearest Diane, Marilyn and family,
My sincerest condolences - Rita was so sweet, kind and gentle, when ever I saw her, I just wanted to give her a big hug! I will always remember the delicious rabbit and polenta dinner she made. I will miss her and will send prayers for her and your family.
